Our client is looking for a senior field technican whose primary focus will be supporting their drilling operations in Eastern Australia, predominantly in NW Queensland. The role will also involve other field activities such as mapping, sampling, and similar tasks. Ideally, this will be FI/FO of Brisbane until the end of the year (December), with the possibility of an extension into the following year. The role will report to the Logistics Operations Supervisor. The following is essential:

  •  3-5 years’ experience in exploration 
  • Remote caravan camps setup
  • Core processing from mark up to cutting/sampling 
  • Knowledge in mapping/sampling surveys and earthworks activities would be advantageous 
  • FIFO from Brisbane (Townsville or Cairns may be considered) 
  • Roster 15 days on 6 days off. There may be occasions where work is based at our Brisbane office/warehouse (5 days on, 2 days off, 8-hour days) 
  • Driver Licence HR (highly desirable)
  • Forklift licence
  • As part of a small team, we require someone capable of handling all aspects of exploration field operations. A hands-on approach and willingness to undertake varied tasks to ensure project success are essential.
