Gnomic Exploration require an experienced Field Technician to support our clients active exploration programs in the Mount Isa Region of NW QLD. The role will involve a mix of field-based exploration, drilling support and data entry, working closely with senior technical site staff.

Duties will include; 

• Work closely with exploration drill rigs to collect and transport RC and Core samples
• Record and enter sample data into the geology system
• Participate in toolbox and safety meetings to ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Adhere to OH&S legislative requirements in all field operations
• Assist with pegging out drilling sites for exploration activities
• Carry out fieldwork as directed by geologists and Senior Field Technician 

A forklift ticket, experience with pXRF, basic QGIS and GPS use are preferred but not desirable.

All accommodation and meals will provided onsite at an existing mine camp. This position is offered DIDO for locals, or FIFO Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville.
