Gnomic Exploration require an Exploration Geologist to assist our Northern Territory client for the 2025 field season. In this role you will report directly to the Senior Exploration Geologist and will assist the wider geology team with the following key tasks:

• RC drill rig supervision, logging, data collection & geological interpretation 

• Collection and management of data in the field (both electronic and hardcopy) to ensure accuracy and completeness 

• Manage and maintain digital databases using high QAQC standards

• Collect and manage all GIS databases required for the exploration programs

• Mentor and assist Field Technicians in data acquisition, sample collection and sample dispatch

• Assist in the compilation of geological information for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports

• Report daily to the Senior Exploration Geologist of program status and drilling activities 

• Assist in drill site setup including; ground truthing using GIS tools, collar mark-up and pad preparation

• Participate in both geology and safety meetings

 

All travel is FIFO Darwin or Cairns. Ensuite rooms and facilities are provided at onsite accommodation. You must be willing to undergo a medical and pass a drug and alcohol screen. An Open manual driver licence is essential. Successful applicants must also be clean shaven for this position.
