Gnomic Exploration require an Exploration Geologist to assist our clients exploration project in the Cobar region. You will need between 3 and 5 years experience and ideally have expereince with any or of the following, air core, RC, Auger as well as diamond drilling. You will also need to have experience with logging, QAQC and sampling.

All accommodation and meals are provided in donga style accommodation or a share house with meal support provided across the different project areas.

This job is offered DIDO if NSW based or FIFO from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

 The Role :

•              Operate flexibly across the Cobar and Nymagee Districts in response to exploration priorities and operational requirements.

•              Promote a safety-first mindset and uphold Aurelia’s best practice environmental standards across all exploration activities.

•              Contribute to the design, management , and execution of exploration programs at priority targets ranging from in-mine extensions to Greenfields projects.

•              Conduct and/or supervise field-based activities such as geological mapping, rock chip and core logging (aircore, RC, diamond), auger sampling, and geophysical surveys.

•              Oversee contractor performance to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.

•              Provide technical assistance to Aurelia’s Nymagee and Cobar Exploration Teams by interpreting geological data to support target generation and refine geological models, helping to maximise the value of work programs.

•              Deliver clear technical reports and documentation to guide exploration strategy.

•              Work closely with the Nymagee and Cobar District Exploration Teams to prioritise targets and improve geological understanding.
