We are seeking an underground mine geologist with previous experience working in an active undergound enviroment. Duties would primarily be :
- Maintain geological grade control and data collection (face samples, mapping, grade calls, stockpile management)
- Updating mine geo databases and sending daily reports
- Mentoring graduate geologists
- Assisting with mining risk assessments (stope notes/mine plans)
- Possibly some core logging
Accommodation is provided at a mine camp with all modern amentities. Travel in on first/last day of 8 roster.
