As a field technician at Gnomic Exploration Services, a typical day involves a variety of work including:

• Assisting geologists at exploration sites

• Collecting soil, diamond and RC samples

• Preparing, bagging and labelling soil, diamond and RC samples

• Getting samples ready for transport

• Camp set up and maintenance

• Fork-lift operation

To be a field technician with Gnomic, generally you need to be:

• Fit

• Self-motivated

• Have a great attitude

• Have a manual driver’s licence 

• Able to work as a team and independently

• Experienced in working safely

• Hold (or able to acquire) a first aid and CPR certificate

It’s a bonus if you have field experience!
